Ai Filter
Ai Filter reviews a text or document with an AI model and keeps only the fragments that match a request written in everyday language, for example “paragraphs about delivery deadlines”. You don’t need to write rules or exact keywords: the model understands the meaning of your request.
The component splits the content into fragments, asks the model whether each one matches your criterion, and returns only the matching ones, each with a short explanation of why.
When to use it
- Pull out of a long contract only the clauses about penalties or renewal.
- Keep only the customer comments that mention a delivery problem.
- Review a report and keep only the sections about a specific product.
- Trim a document before passing it to another component, so it works only with what matters.
Configuration

| Max Chunks | Maximum number of fragments to review. Leave it empty to review the whole content. Useful to limit usage with very long documents. |
| Model (required) | The AI model that decides which fragments match. Connect a model component here. |
Output
The Filter output returns a list with the fragments that match your criterion. Each item includes:
- content: the text of the fragment.
- explanation: a short explanation of why it matches.
If no fragment matches, the list is empty. You can connect the result to an agent, a text formatting component or a message output.
Example
Your legal team receives supplier contracts and only wants to review the payment terms.
- Load the contract and connect it to Data.
- In Query, write: “clauses about payment deadlines or payment terms”.
- Connect a model to Model.
- Send the result to a component that writes a summary for the team.
Good practices
- Make the query specific. “Late delivery penalty clauses” works better than “important things”.
- With very long documents, use Max Chunks to control the time and cost of the review.
