The assistant panel
Open it and move it around
Click Ask AI for Help in the bottom right corner of any screen. A floating window opens that you can:
- Move, by dragging it by the purple bar at the top.
- Resize, by pulling any edge or corner.
- Maximize or minimize with the arrows button in the bar.
- Reset its position and size, by double-clicking the bar.
- Close with the X or the Esc key.
The window stays with you as you move around the dashboard: you can go from Home to a flow, or from a flow to the Scheduler, and the conversation is still there, even if the assistant is in the middle of a reply. When you open it again, you get your last conversation back.

The top bar
| Button | What it does |
|---|---|
| Usage (activity icon) | Shows how much you have spent this month against your limit and how many days are left until it resets. |
| Sessions (clock icon) | Your previous conversations. See Conversations. |
| Feedback (list icon) | The thumbs-up and thumbs-down ratings you have given its replies. |
| Clear chat (eraser icon) | Starts from scratch. The previous conversation is not lost: it stays in Sessions. |
| Maximize / Minimize | Switches between the large window and the compact one. |
| Close | Hides the panel. Whatever the assistant is doing keeps going. |
The message box
Write what you want the way you would tell a colleague and press Enter (or the send button). Shift + Enter adds a line break.
Below the box you have:
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| + | Attaches files: images (PNG, JPG) and PDFs, up to 3 per message. Useful for showing it an error, a sample document or a sketch of what you want. |
| @ | Points to a component in the open flow so it knows exactly which one you mean. |
| Guided / Automatic | How much it checks with you before acting. See Modes. |
| Microphone | Dictate the message instead of typing it (if your browser supports it). |
| Send | Sends the message. While it replies, Stop generating appears above the box so you can stop it. |

Guided or Automatic

- Guided: it checks with you before every step. It shows you the plan and waits for your yes, and it asks for permission before acting on your account: looking things up, running, publishing or changing anything. This is the recommended mode while you get used to it, and for anything that touches real data or services.
- Automatic: it works from start to finish and treats permissions as granted. It only stops when it needs something only you know (for example, which credential to use or a spreadsheet’s ID). Ideal when you already know what you want and don’t want to approve every step.
The mode is remembered for next time.
While it works
You can follow its progress in real time:
- A line before each step, explaining what it is about to do (“Looking in the catalog for the components I need…”, “Building the flow…”).
- A progress indicator (Done · N steps) that you can expand to see each step.
- Question cards when it needs you to choose something. Click the option you want or, if none fits, type your answer in the box.
- Permission cards with Accept and Reject before acting on your account (in Guided mode).
- The run card when it tests a flow: each component with its status and its time. If the flow is open, you will also see the components light up on the canvas.
If the flow it is working on is the one you have open, the changes appear on the canvas as it makes them, without reloading the page. Whatever it builds is saved automatically.
Conversations
The clock button lists your conversations, from newest to oldest, with the date and the number of messages. From there you can:
- Resume a conversation: the assistant remembers everything you discussed in it.
- Start a new one with + New session.
- Delete it with the trash icon (it asks for a second click to confirm).

From the component editor
When you open the large editor for a text field (for example, an agent’s instructions) or the code editor of a Python Code or JS Code component, you will see a sparkles button in the corner. It opens the assistant knowing you are in that field: whatever you ask for (“add a rule…”, “make the code skip empty rows…”) it writes directly there.

Even if you open it from an editor, it is still the same assistant: it can work on the rest of the flow or your account if you ask it to.
Your usage
The assistant has a monthly usage limit based on what you have contracted. You can see it in the panel’s usage button or in the AI Assistant usage card on the home page, with the amount spent, the limit and the date it resets:

When you hover over each reply, it also shows the time and how much it used.
Rate the replies
Hover over a reply and click thumbs up or thumbs down. You can add a comment about what went well or what went wrong (Ctrl/⌘ + Enter to send it). These ratings help us improve the assistant.
