LinkedIn Post
This component in Nappai helps you schedule and publish posts to your LinkedIn profile directly from your automation dashboard. It’s perfect for sharing updates, announcements, or multimedia content with your network.
Relationship with LinkedIn API
This component connects to the LinkedIn API to send your posts. This means you’ll need to provide Nappai with your LinkedIn login credentials to allow it to post on your behalf. Nappai handles the technical details of communicating with LinkedIn; you just need to provide the content.
Inputs
- Post Message: This is where you write the text of your LinkedIn post. You can use multiple lines to create longer messages. This field is required.
- Media files: Here you can add photos, videos, or other media files to your post. You can add different file types.
- Visibility: Choose who can see your post:
- Anyone: Your post will be visible to everyone on LinkedIn.
- Connections: Only your LinkedIn connections will see your post. (This is the default setting)
- Credential: Select the LinkedIn account credentials you’ve previously added to Nappai. This is how Nappai knows which LinkedIn account to post from.
Outputs
The component produces a “LinkedIn Message” output. This message tells you if your post was successfully sent to LinkedIn. It will also show any errors that occurred during the posting process. You can use this output in other parts of your Nappai workflow to track the success of your LinkedIn posts.
Usage Example
Let’s say you want to post a picture of your company’s new product and a short description. You would:
- Enter the product description in the “Post Message” field.
- Select the picture in the “Media files” field.
- Choose “Anyone” or “Connections” in the “Visibility” dropdown.
- Select your LinkedIn credentials.
- Run the Nappai workflow.
The “LinkedIn Message” output will then confirm whether the post was successful.
