One Drive
This component lets you easily upload files and folders from your Microsoft OneDrive account into Nappai for further processing. Nappai will then use this data in your automated workflows.
Relationship with Microsoft OneDrive
This component connects directly to your Microsoft OneDrive account to access and upload files. You’ll need to provide Nappai with the necessary credentials to allow this connection.
Inputs
- Upload file or select file (file_id): Choose a single file from your OneDrive to upload. Nappai supports text and image files.
- or Select folder (folder_id): Select an entire folder from your OneDrive. Nappai will upload all text and image files within that folder.
- File Type: Choose the type of file you want to upload. You can select “all” to upload all supported file types, or choose from “document”, “sheet”, or “pdf”.
- Credential: This is where you’ll select the OneDrive account you want to use. You’ll need to set this up beforehand in Nappai’s account settings.
Outputs
- Data: This output contains the actual content of the files you uploaded. Nappai will use this content in subsequent steps of your automation.
- Files: This output provides a list of the files that were successfully uploaded, showing their names and locations on OneDrive. This is helpful for tracking and debugging.
Usage Example
Let’s say you want to analyze the text from a Word document stored in your OneDrive. You would:
- Select the “One Drive” component in your Nappai dashboard.
- In the “Upload file or select file” input, choose your Word document from your OneDrive.
- Select “document” in the “File Type” dropdown.
- Select your OneDrive credential.
- Run the workflow. The “Data” output will contain the text from your document, ready for further processing by other Nappai components (like a text analyzer).

Tips and Best Practices
- File Types: Make sure the files you upload are supported (text and image files).
- Folder Selection: Uploading large folders might take some time.
- Credential Management: Keep your OneDrive credentials secure.
Security Considerations
- Nappai uses secure methods to connect to your OneDrive account. However, it’s crucial to only use trusted credentials. Never share your OneDrive credentials with anyone.
- Be mindful of the sensitivity of the data you upload. Only upload data that you are comfortable sharing with Nappai.
